In summer 2024 Veronika Tokareva made her debut as GERTRUD in Gounod‘s „Roméo et Juliette“ at the Immling International Opera Festival. Her debut as AMNERIS in Verdi‘s „Aida“ she will make at the Pforzheim Theatre in the season 24/25.

In 2022 she made her German debut as JEZIBABA in A. Dvořák‘s „Rusalka“ at the Theatre Plauen/Zwickau. In February 2024 she was CHERUBINO in „Le nozze di Figaro“ in Rudolstadt. Before, she already performed at the Mariinsky Theater St. Petersburg and she sang with the Philharmonic Novosibirsk Orchestra and the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2012, while studying in the class of Marina Shutova at the Faculty of Arts of the Lomonosow State University in Moscow, Veronika Tokareva was accepted at the Academy of Young Singers of the Mariinsky Theatre.

In 2013 she debuted at the Opera and Ballet State Theatre of the North Ossetia Alania Republic in the role of DIMITRY in the opera „Fedora“ by U. Giordano. Other roles followed such as OLGA in „Eugen Onegin“, PAULINE in „PIQUE DAME“, FLORA in „ La Traviata“ , WITCH in „Hänsel und Gretel“, GONERIL in „King Lear“ by S. Slonimskij, NOBLE ORPHAN in "Der Rosenkavalier" by R. Strauss, GHOST in "Cendrillon" by J. Massenet…

In 2019 Veronika came to Germany and studied at the Franz Liszt Conservatory in Weimar.

She worked with such renowned singers, producers and conductors such as Helen Donath, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Matthias Milder, Irina Dolzhenko, Marina Shutova, Brigitte Fassbänder, Anna Sofia von Otter, Ekhart Wycik, Leo Siberski, Josef Katrak, Roman Hovenbitzer just to name a few.

Veronika is Prize Winner of the 1st Prize of the Interregional Igor Severyanin Festival Contest, the 3rd Prize of the Boris Schtokolov International Singing Contest, the 3rd and the 5th Prize of the Pavel Lisitsian International Singing Contest, the 4rth Prize of the Maxim Mikhailov International Singing Contest.

Besides, the artist was the semi finalist of the International „Opera-Crown“ Singing Contest in Tiflis.
