Nationaloper Prag – FÜRST STERNENHOCH
"Sergei Kostov is a unique star high. His voice fluently changes from a high countertenor voice into the normal tenor position. He and his dancing alter ego in the form of the great Jan Kodet are a pictorial couple."

"Stocky Sergej Kostov in the title role perfectly passed the lyrical tenor position to the countertenor. Corresponding with his back combed hair on his forehead he acted equally repellent. Together with his dancing alter ego , performed by Michal Heriban, they formed an authentical decadent couple."
