  BIOGRAPHY  

 

Already in 2012, while still studying at the Faculty of Arts of the Moscow Lomonosow University in the class of Marina Shutova, Veronika Tokareva was engaged at the Mariinsky Theatre Academy for Young Singer.

In 2013 she made her debut in the role of DIMITRY in U.Giordano's “Fedora”at the Opera and Ballet Theatre of the North Ossetia -Alaniea Republic . This was followed by such roles as OLGA in „Eugen Onegin“, PAULINE in „PIQUE DAME“, FLORA in „ La Traviata“ , WITCH in „Hänsel und Gretel“, GONERIL in „King Lear“ by S. Slonimsky, the NOBLE ORPHAN in "Der Rosenkavalier" by R. Strauss, the SPIRIT in "Cendrillon" by J. Massenet…

In 2019 Veronika came to Germany and studied at the Franz Liszt Conservatory (Weimar). In 2022, after graduating here, she made her debut as JEZIBABA inA. Dvořák ‘S „Rusalka“ At the Theatre Plauen/Zwickau.

Veronika Tokareva performed at the Mariinsky Theater St. Petersburg, with the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jena Philharmonic Orchestras.

She worked with such renowned singers, producers and conductors as Helen Donath, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Matthias Milder, Irina Dolzhenko, Marina Shutova, Brigitte Fassbänder, Anna Sofia von Otter, Ekhart Wycik, Leo Siberski, Josef Katrak, Roman Hovenbitzer just to name a few..

Veronika Tokareva is Winner of the 1st Prize of the Igor Severyanin Interregional Festival Contest, Diplome Winner of the 3rd Boris Shtokolov International Singing Competition, the 3rd and 5th Pavel LisitsianInternational Singing Competition, the 4th Maxim Mikhailov International Singing Competition and was Semi Finalist of the International Singing Competition „Opera-Crown“ in Tiflis.
