Pfaslztheater Kaiserslautern – Die Lustige Witwe – GRAF DANILO
Most phenomenal singer of the premiere evening is the baritone Xaver Schlecht. The role of count Danilo Danilowitsch really seems to be made especially for him. Effortless in the high registers and brilliant in the low ones, his voice enthralls with robust vitality and great naturalness. Also as an actor, the singer goes all the way. A veritable show piece is the song „Dann gehe ich ins Maxim“.. which he actually does arm in arm with the grisettes troop. Not only does the baritone know how to act like a comedian, he also shows strong emotions. In the love duet „Lippen schweigen“ his voice communicates pure emotions without falling into the trap of sentimentality.

Landestheater Coburg – Rusalka - HEGER
The bigot servant, Franz Xaver Schlecht, sings very securely. With his assaults and his superstition, he presents a very scheming, unpleasant portrayal of his character.
