The 28 years old soprano sings the intermediate between great lyrical and youthful-dramatic soprano voices and has both coloratura and spinto qualities. This explains her repertoire until now: in summer and autumn 2019, just before COVID 19, Kinga Krajnik made her very successful debut in Italy, singing the title part of VIOLETTA VALÉRY in “La Traviata”. In fact, she sang the role in two new productions at the time: at the Bitonto Opera Festival and at the Teatro dell’Unione in Viterbo.
Already 2 years earlier, in autumn 2017, while still studying, she made her successful, professional stage debut as the QUEEN OF THE NIGHT in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Silesian Opera Bytom in Poland. As a concert singer, she already performed in Bulgaria at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, at the Kaliningrad Philharmonic and the Zielona Gora Philharmonic.
Born in the Polish Sosnowitz, KInga Krajnik started her musical education in solo singing at the Mieczyslaw Karlowicz Conservatory in her native town. She continued her musical studies at the Karol Lipiński Conservatory in Wroclaw (Bachelor) and at the Conservatory Karol Szymanowski in Katowice (Master). During a two semester Erasmus stay in Valencia, the young soprano completed her singing studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Musica Joaquin Rodrigo in Valencia, before she successfully passed her concert exam at the Conservatorio di Musica Umberto Giordano in Foggia, Italy.
Parts learned in the context of her studies include: Desdemona, Contessa Almaviva, Donna Anna, Mimi, Giulietta, Antonia, Micaela, Nedda and Tannhäuser-Elisabeth.
Apart from her native language Polish, Kinga Krajnik is fluent in English, speaks very well German and Italian and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
