Volksoper Wien – Die Csardasfürstin – SYLVIA VARESCU
Elissa Huber in the title role is almost a real godsend. She looks gorgeously, has a soprano voice beautiful sounding in all registers. She also is a stage personality, who is in the centering at any moment. She fulfils all the requirements to be a successful Sylvia Varescu.
Hans Sabadtisch, Der Neue Merker – 1/2019
The central role of Sylva Varescu was excellently casted by Elissa Huber. At last, once could experience once again a true operetta diva on stage. She has a tchnically excellent guided voice, secure in the high registers. As an actress she also totally convinced.

Scala di Milano - The Enchanted Flute - 1st DAME
.. all 3 dames were vocally and actingly homogenous (al though the 1st dame Elissa Huber, whose voice is of a particularly beautiful quality, deserves special attention)...
Tagesspiegel- Udo Badelt - Review on the Final Concert of he National Singing Competition at the State Opera in the Schiller Theatre - November 2016

Could it be, they only gave her the 3rd place, because she had already received the Prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary composition?... However, this Special Prize she absolutely deserves. She demonstrated so in 3 short, much too short songs from Aribert Reimann. The way Elissa Huber performs them: simply spectacular...
